Suite 12, Walk to Cruz Bay!

The Marketplace is further from the centrall Cruz bay than anticipated. And there is no pool or beach. The walk to central Cruz Bay is less than 1/2 mile and is not pretty and can be dangerous in places.

Had an amazing stay. The location is convenient- only few minutes walk from ferry doc and several restaurants with market just downstairs and deli right next to the apartment.

This is our second time staying at the suites. Very convenient to town if you don’t mind a 10 minute or so walk. The market down below is very nice and has all that you need. With it being in a commercial setting, it can be a little noisy in the morning when everything is opening up, but nothing unbearable! Especially for the price. We will be back.

Nice place. Could have done a little better with cleaning. The white sofa needed a deep cleaning, had hair on it and on bathroom rug and sink. Overall it wasn't terrible. Convenient location. Less than 5 minutes to car ferry and restaraunts. Nice having a grocery store on site and safe area.

Decent walking to Cruz Bay ferry. Parking available for car rental and this allows to explore more of island driving.

This was our second time staying at this Airbnb in the Marketplace and once again it did not disappoint. The location is perfect, close to everything you need, with ample parking and an easy check-in process. The space is clean, comfortable, and private, making it a great place to relax after a day out on St. John. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

We stayed for ten nights. The room was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and pillows. Walking distance to town. Very convenient having grocery and drug stores downstairs, as well as other shops. Nice to have parking when we had a car. Our main complaint was noise. I can only speak for unit #12, but there was noise echoing up from the first floor starting at 7:00 each morning. There seems to be no sound proofing in the wall with the huge window. Also, there is no 24/7 phone number for help with a problem, only during the day Monday through Saturday. This was a problem when the fire alarms went off in the building at 12:45 Sunday morning. The fire truck came but the firemen could not find something they needed to turn it off, and nobody had a number to contact. Not sure whose responsibility that is, but we sat in our car for 45 minutes until 1:30 AM waiting for the alarms to be turned off. I guess we would appreciate greater access to assistance if needed.

Everything was excellent and the home is wonderful with a nice view and an excellent kitchen. Loved it

Booked our trip just a couple of weeks before we left, and it was right in the middle of busy season. There were very few rentals available, but we were able to find Marketplace suites. Usually, we stay in a remote house overlooking the ocean, but since none were available, we stayed in the heart of the busy Cruz Bay.

This rental exceeded our expectations! There may not be a room with a view, but this rental is brand new and very modern for island living. The AC works EXTREMELY well, and the apartment is spotless clean. The bed is brand new and comfortable, and the bedding was extremely cozy. You are right above the market shopping center, so you have access to not only the grocery store, but also a pharmacy, bakery, sandwich and coffee shop. It is a fairly easy walk down the hill to all the restaurants and bars, but you are also in a location with tons of taxi safaris available. The fridge worked well, and a nice smart TV. Internet is fast. I highly recommend. We'll be back!

Good location especially if you don’t rent a Jeep. Convenient being walking distance to restaurants in Cruz Bay. We loved Sam & Jack’s Deli right next door - ate there every day of our trip. Very clean room. Comfortable bed (would have loved 2 more pillows). Only downside is the noise from the interior courtyard. You can hear people banging their shopping carts from the grocery store downstairs. Would stay again.

Great place and very comfortable room! So awesome that the supermarket was in the same place! No loud noises. It was a wonderful stay! Highly recommend. We will be back again.

We had a great time staying here! It was super convenient to be located above a grocery store! Definitely took advantage of that! The place was cozy and very clean. There are some hills but it definitely is walkable into town! Love St. John and will definitely be back!

The room was nice and modern however there are is no view at all out the windows so felt a bit claustrophobic. I wish I had known that there are other suites that can be booked directly on the host’s website that are better and you can avoid the Airbnb fee.

Having a grocery market within the same building was convenient.

Walkable to downtown restaurants and shopping if you are in good shape and don’t mind the narrow island roads. Hard to get a taxi to pick you up here but it’s easy to take a taxi back if needed. I would recommend renting a car since taxis can be expensive.

This was a vacation that was booked at the last minute. I am grateful that we found this place to stay, very close to a grocery store and not too far from the Main Street. we were so busy during the day and we spent time at the hotel only at night. mornings were noisy. It worked very well for us. Thank you
